An exciting redevelopment of the community hall allowing us to outreach into the local area more effectively.
With a fresh design and multi-use space we hope to be able to engage with the community even more. Our offering will complement and enhance the local shops and food outlets, helping to attract greater numbers of people to the area.
Where St Peter’s Rise and Bishopsworth Road intersect is a great place for people to meet and spend time with loved ones, neighbours and friends. We have a beautiful park on our doorstep, a local library, several great take-aways and cafés, a fantastic butcher and grocery shop, and an off-license. What a privilege to be able to add something else to the mix.
Designed with sustainability in mind the new plans are for a bright, comfortable and welcoming place.
There will be a Café and catering kitchen serving visitors in a flexible space. Private meetings and functions can happen at the same time as the café being open to the general public.
There is a private break-out room, separated from the café area with a glass wall and door. This area can be used for quiet reading and prayer, and there will be Christian literature and gifts available.
We want to lead the way in showing how sustainable living looks in real life. We are looking at solar electric and water heating, heat-source warming and cooling solutions, and passive efficiency measures.
