About

Headley Park Church is like a large family. We usually have about 150 people at our Sunday morning service. The youngest would only be a few months old, whereas our oldest church members are in their nineties.
We have people who have been following Jesus Christ for decades, as well as some who have only recently come to faith. We want as many people as possible to explore who Jesus Christ is, what he came to do and what difference he makes to life today. Some do that with us on Sundays. Others get stuck into one of our many clubs, activities, courses, or one-off events during the week.
A family in church

Our church family is built on God's love. We believe God loved this world so much that he sent his one and only Son, Jesus Christ, to rescue us from death, destruction, and despair, and instead to bring us into a renewed relationship with him and with other people. He is our only hope in this life and the next.

Our church is part of a network of more than 600 churches, from all over the UK, called the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches (FIEC). Find out What we believe

Our church is proud to be part of the communities of Headley Park, Bedminster Down and Bishopsworth. We regularly host community events and all our services and regular activities are open to all people regardless of belief or background.

Our Vision

Our vision as a church is to see lives and communities transformed through the Good News of Jesus Christ. We want to be on mission for him. We want to be growing daily in him. If you already know Jesus Christ and are looking for a somewhere to serve him, there is a place in our church family for you. If you want to know if Jesus Christ is everything he is cracked up to be by those who follow him, then there is a place in our church family for you too.

Our Missionary Family

Headley Park Church supports a range of missionaries serving Jesus in various ways around the world, with money given by church members towards supporting them, their families and their ministries.

We have mission partners working in Romania, the Middle East, South East Asia, Chile and with the African diaspora. They are involved in various ministries including church planting, Bible translation and sharing the good news of the gospel with unreached people groups and communities.

Our church has an International Mission Council which discusses all issues relating to our support of missionaries, and each of our missionaries has a Church Rep who acts as the first point of contact between them and the rest of the church

For more information use the Contact Us form to speak to Ruth Dowland who chairs our International Mission Council.

To get a taste of some of the ministries we are supporting, watch this interview with one of our mission partners, Vlad, who is church planting in Romania.
