1) Church Members’ information privacy notice:

Your privacy is important to us at Headley Park Church. Under new Data Protection legislation, we need to let you know how we care for your information. Headley Park Church is the data controller and can be contacted by emailing office@headleyparkchurch.org.uk. Your name and contact details will be entered in to the church management software, which is stored on the church office computer which is password protected and accessed only by elders, deacons, ministry leaders and admin staff. Your contact details will be removed from the database three years after you cease to be a member of Headley Park Church, unless you request otherwise. We will contact you annually to check that the information we are holding is accurate and that you still agree to us holding it. We are collecting this information to enable the church to keep in touch with you and provide pastoral support as appropriate. Data Protection legislation allows us to process this information as we regard it as being in the church’s legitimate interest. We will not share this data with any third parties unless obliged to by law. You have the right to request access to information about you that we hold. The information you supply will be entered in to the church management software, which is stored on the church office computer which is password protected and accessed only by elders, deacons, ministry leaders and admin staff. The information you supply will be removed from the database in line with our Data Protection policy. (See Appendix 2 – Records Retention Policy) We are collecting this information to enable the church to run Tots/Club!/Epic/Fusion/Creche/Headstart/Headstart Plus/EpicFusion safely and ensure we can contact you in case of an emergency. Data Protection legislation allows us to process this information as we regard it as being the church’s legitimate interest. If you are unable to supply the information requested, then we will be unable to accept your child to Tots/Club!/Epic/Fusion/Creche/Headstart/Headstart Plus/EpicFusion. We will not share this data with any third parties unless obliged to by law. You have the right to request access to information about you that we hold.
